Each wave’s personality
Why wave 3 is strong and wave 5 deceptive. · ⏱ 3 min
Each wave forms in a different mood, so each has its own character:
- Wave 1: starts amid doubt; most say “it’ll fall again”.
- Wave 2: fear returns; many sell right near the low.
- Wave 3: the strongest; turnover and breadth grow, news turns good.
- Wave 4: choppy and sideways; a test of patience.
- Wave 5: price at new highs but fewer stocks rising — everyone happy, tired inside.
