Reading mood on NEPSE
Mood signals — right here on this site. · ⏱ 3 min
Mood can’t be measured directly, but its footprints can be seen:
- Turnover: records near tops, dry near bottoms.
- Breadth: many stocks rising together means broad mood.
- IPO crowds: millions of applicants = an optimistic crowd.
- Loans and margin: when the crowd borrows to buy shares, mood is near euphoria.
- Tea-shop talk: when everyone talks shares, be careful.
